Dr. Laufer graduated from Harvard University, earning his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors. He received his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. After practicing as an internist in Huntington, New York, Dr. Laufer decided to relocate his family to sunny Ft. Myers, Florida. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Medical Association. As an internist, he specializes in preventive medicine and primary care, including all common adult disorders such as hypertention, diabeties mellitus and hyercholesterolemia.
