Dr. Dora Ancaya began her medical education in Torreon, Mexico, earning her MD degree in 1997. She completed her Residency in Internal Medicine at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center (Bronx, New York), in 2005.
After completing her education, Dr. Ancaya worked as in Internist for Family HealthCare Network in California until 2009, when she relocated to Texas. She served as Assistant Professor in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Texas Tech University Health Science Center, directly supervising Residents and medical students in both outpatient and inpatient care until coming to IMA in 2011.
Dr. Ancaya is Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians. She is fluent in both Spanish and English.
